Worthless VilanelleFrustrated, I throw down paper and quill,  Sitting in my forestal home,  For everything created is akin to swill.   
I long ot write poetry with pomp and frill,  Not meandering lines and words that roam,  Frustrated, I throw down paper and quill.   
Though there are lines to write and stanzas to fill,  I haven't the merit to fill a tome,  For everything created is akin to swill.

A Suicide Note...True...  I have all a guy could want,  At least that's what they all say,  What did I have to be depressed about?   
True...  I have friends and family who love me,  People who make my life more bearable,  Buy when did bearable become a goal?   
True...  I live in a middle-class world,  I have never truly known want,  Yet, has this seperated me from desperation?   
True,  I am of healthy body and prodigous mind,  A shell ot house the knowledge of the world,  And why do so few echo Solomon's words?   
True,  I have this creative drive, &nbs A Suicide Note...

So, I've been in church for almost a week with a youth retreat. Feeling really invigorated and spiritual, but I'm starting to find more of a balance. At least I'm off my totally Christian music stint. I'm listening to Cabaret, so I can pretty well think that's done. I'm just really paranoid at the moment because of a deadline and something that few know...oh well, I'll get over it. May God be with you.

Ouch! That -beepin- -beep beep- Lady made me hurt... but she -beeps- it'll make me longer and stronger -beep- I'm in pain... lol just kidding... I thought the beeps would be funny... try "the new princeton encyclopedia of poetry and poetics" for some terms and styles with which you may not be familiar. keep asking questions, maintain your curiosity about language, and strive to refine and redefine your style should you continue writing.
